26th Psychiatry Forum in Göttingen: Free Mental Health Exchange This October
The 26th Psychiatry Forum is set to take place in Göttingen this October, providing a platform for exchange and learning about mental health. The event is funded by the statutory health insurance (GKV) for self-help promotion in Lower Saxony and is free to attend.
The Forum will be held on four Mondays in October, with sessions not dependent on each other, allowing attendees to pick and choose which ones to attend. Each session runs from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Paulus parish community in Göttingen.
One of the preparatory groups, known as the 'Vorbereitungsgruppe', will lead a session titled 'Vergiss dich nicht' on self-care on October 13, 2025. The event welcomes those with psychiatry experience, relatives, mental health professionals, and anyone else interested in the topic.
The 26th Psychiatry Forum offers a unique opportunity for open dialogue and mutual learning about mental health. With a diverse range of attendees and topics, it promises to be an insightful and engaging event.
