News Article: Events and Studies in the Ilm District

In the picturesque town of Ilmenau, the Multigenerational House "Alte Försterei" is set to host an enlightening event on August 25th at 14:00. Titled "10 Myths in Road Traffic: Drivers, Beware!", the traffic talk aims to promote safety and knowledge on the roads, welcoming all road users, not just drivers.

This event, organised by the Volkshochschule Arnstadt-Ilmenau, promises to be a space for open exchange, addressing common myths and fostering a safer driving culture.

Meanwhile, the Agricultural Union in the Ilm District is seeking agricultural workers who work with animals for a study. Conducted by a research team from the PECO Institute, the online survey runs until September 14th and is anonymous. The survey focuses on occupational safety in the barn and the workload in the barn, aiming to ensure a safer and more productive work environment for those in the agricultural sector.

For those interested in exploring the rich history and architecture of the Ilm District, a special bus tour is being organised by the Volkshochschule Arnstadt-Ilmenau on September 14th. The tour will visit various churches in the district, including the Her(r)bergskirche in Neustadt am Rennsteig, the Bergkirche in Vesser, churches in Heyda and Traßdorf. Participation in the tour is subject to a fee and prior registration is required via the VHS Arnstadt-Ilmenau website.

It's important to note that participation in the newsletter of any of these events or studies implies agreement to the advertising agreement.

The chairman of IG BAU Thuringia has expressed his interest in the study's findings extending to the situation in the barns of agriculture in the Ilm District. However, the study itself does not appear to be directly related to the agricultural practices in the district.

The online survey can be accessed easily online and takes approximately a quarter of an hour to complete. So, whether you're a farmer, a driver, or simply a resident of the Ilm District, there's an event or study that could benefit you this season!
