Aiming for considerably over 89,000 euros, Sternsinger successfully raises funds through charitable contributions.
This year, the Sternsinger organisation has launched the 66th Action Three Kings' Singing campaign with a focus on preserving the earth, particularly in the Amazon, and supporting vulnerable children worldwide. The motto, "Together for our earth - in the Amazon and worldwide," reflects the organisation's commitment to both environmental conservation and child welfare.
The Sternsinger group supports a diverse range of children's projects globally, with donations directed towards education, health, pastoral care, nutrition, social integration, and emergency aid. These projects, chosen annually, aim to improve the lives of children in key areas such as education, health, and social integration, among others.
In Germany, the Sternsinger's efforts have been fruitful. In the pastoral unit of Pfinztal, over 11,710 euros were collected, while the parish of Pforzheim saw over 22,600 euros raised. The Sternsinger groups in the pastoral unit of Kaempfelbachtal made the highest contribution with around 37,300 euros, contributing to the grand total of 88,188.69 euros collected by the Sternsinger of the Catholic deanery of Pforzheim this year.
The little and big kings were actively involved in the collection of donations for these worldwide children's projects. The chalk mark used by the messengers of charity, "20*C+M+B+24," symbolises the traditional blessing of the Magi, Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar, reminding us of the importance of giving and compassion during the festive season.
The partner organisations of the Sternsinger are dedicated to implementing the right of children to a protected environment, not just in the Amazon, but worldwide. The collected donations will be allocated transparently to fund these projects, with funds being used to finance educational materials, school infrastructure, and teacher training, among other things.
The Sternsinger's coordinated efforts ensure that these donations have a direct impact on improving children's lives worldwide through sustainable, project-focused aid. The organisation's commitment to both environmental conservation and child welfare makes it a beacon of hope for vulnerable children and their communities.

Science plays a crucial role in the selection of effective health-and-wellness projects supported by the Sternsinger organization, particularly those aimed at improving children's education and nutrition. By funding research and development of educational materials and school infrastructure, the Sternsinger ensures these projects are well-informed and sustainable, ultimately contributing to the welfare of vulnerable children worldwide.
