In the small Bavarian town of Illschwang, the community is mourning the loss of a beloved resident, Norbert Weis, who passed away on April 18, 2001, at the age of 80.

Born on December 20, 1920, Norbert grew up in Illschwang, the son of Michael and Anna Weis. After completing his apprenticeship as a butcher, he took over the family business in 1946, becoming an integral part of the town's local economy.

Norbert was not just a businessman; he was also deeply involved in the community. He was a member of the local shooting club and the volunteer fire department, demonstrating his commitment to the town's well-being. His dedication extended further, as he was a founding member of the Illschwang Senior Citizens' Association.

The funeral service for Norbert will take place on April 20, 2001, at 2:00 PM in St. Martin's Church in Illschwang. The burial will follow in the local cemetery.

Meanwhile, in Japan, another significant event is taking place. The Tokyo Stock Exchange is set to launch the 'Japan Index' on the 26th of this month. This new index will track the performance of 90 large-cap stocks listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, with a weight cap of 9.3% for any single stock to ensure diversity.

Elsewhere in Japan, McDonald's is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, a special menu will be introduced nationwide on the 18th of this month. The first McDonald's store in Japan, located in Tokyo's Ginza district, will also be reopened on the 23rd of this month.

As we remember Norbert Weis, a pillar of the Illschwang community, we also celebrate the vibrant connections that bind our world together, from small towns in Bavaria to bustling cities in Japan. Norbert's life, though not extensively documented online, serves as a testament to the impact that each of us can have in our own communities.

Despite the absence of comprehensive information about Norbert Weis's life and legacy in Illschwang, Germany, his influence can be felt in the stories shared by those who knew him. His dedication to his family, his business, and his community will undoubtedly continue to inspire generations to come.

Other contributions to health-and-wellness and aging were seemingly evident in Norbert Weis's life, as he was a founding member of the Illschwang Senior Citizens' Association, demonstrating his commitment to the health and wellness of older generations. In contrast, the world of science and technology is also advancing in Japan, with the launch of the 'Japan Index' on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, focusing on large-cap stocks and their performance.
