Arnsberg's 'Open Discussion Circle on Dementia' Offers Support for Caregivers

Judith Wohlgemuth, reachable at 02932 201 2213 or [email protected], assists with services like dementia support groups. Meanwhile, the Arnsberg Network hosts an 'Open Discussion Circle on Dementia' for caregivers to share experiences.
Around 70% of care-dependent people with dementia live at home, cared for by relatives. This responsibility can be demanding, impacting caregivers' own needs and activities. Since October 2024, the Arnsberg Network has been providing a safe space for these caregivers to discuss their experiences through the 'Open Discussion Circle on Dementia'. The next session is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, at 6 pm at the Multigenerational House at Hellefelder Straße 15 in Arnsberg. Participation is free and registration is not required.
The Fachstelle Zukunft Alter and the Arnsberg Network collaborate to support those caring for dementia patients at home. The 'Open Discussion Circle on Dementia' offers a vital platform for caregivers to connect and share their journeys, promoting mental well-being and mutual support.
