In response to the tragic Milestone School plane crash, a team of doctors and nurses from two of India's leading hospitals for burn treatment and plastic surgery have arrived in Dhaka to provide much-needed assistance.

The team, comprising two medical specialists and a nursing assistant, hails from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Safdarjung Hospital, renowned for their specialized burn treatment facilities in India.

Their arrival in Dhaka, confirmed by an official at the High Commission of India in Dhaka, was a follow-up to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's message expressing condolences and offering all possible support and assistance for the victims.

The team landed in Dhaka on July 23 and began their work on July 24 at a designated hospital. Their mission is to provide specialized care to those in critical condition, particularly those suffering from severe burns, which were a common injury in the Milestone School plane crash.

This deployment underscores India's commitment to regional cooperation and humanitarian response during crises. The team’s presence reflects India’s willingness to provide critical medical aid to neighboring countries in need.

The communication from the Indian government indicates that urgent medical support is being sent for the burn victims of the Milestone School plane crash. Indian Prime Minister Modi described the loss of lives in the crash as tragic and offered his deepest condolences.
