Celebrating Noodle 1's anniversary with exquisite cuisine and charitable act.
In the picturesque district of Uhlbach, Fanny Tran marked the 20th anniversary of her Michelin-starred restaurant, Noodle 1, with a special charity event. The evening was filled with culinary delights, generosity, and a heartfelt aim to support an orphanage in Saigon.
Andreas Lutz served the wines at the event, donated by winemakers such as Bernhard Ellwanger and Jürgen Ellwanger. The flying buffet, prepared by Andreas Hettinger from Délice, added an exquisite touch to the festivities.
Fanny Tran, who originally trained as a dental assistant, found her passion in the hospitality industry after joining her brother's restaurant, Lúc Lác, in Stuttgart. She opened the first Asian "Open Kitchen" at Rotebühlplatz 20 years ago, followed by Noodle 1.
Evangelos Pattas, a former sommelier at Noodle 1, was also present. After leaving Noodle 1, he became a wine merchant and recently released a new wine list for the restaurant. Fanny Tran aims to raise the same amount for the orphanage this time, as she did for the Chúa Binh An orphanage during her 10th anniversary celebration, where she managed to raise nearly 9,000 euros.
The event was not without support from the community. Many ingredients for the dishes were provided free of charge, and Kathrin Haasis was among the guests who graced the occasion with their presence.
Meanwhile, in Plüderhausen, a young driver lost control of a Seat early on Saturday morning, resulting in an accident involving a tree and a lamp post. The occupants of the Seat were injured in the accident.
In a separate development, a wine bar in Uhlbach, previously known as the Wine Bar Lions, has a new successor named the Pearl. Details about this change are yet to be fully disclosed.
Lastly, Evangelos Pattas, who recently walked 900 kilometers on the Camino de Santiago after the death of his wife, continues to make an impact in the world of wine and hospitality. His dedication and passion are undoubtedly inspiring to many.
Scientists and health enthusiasts alike may appreciate Evangelos Pattas' dedication to the food-and-drink industry, as his recent charity event for health-and-wellness focused on providing culinary delights from the district of Uhlbach, with a focus on local produce and dishes. The event also featured a lifestyle touch from Andreas Hettinger's flying buffet and the support of industry peers, such as Andreas Lutz, who served wines donated by Bernhard Ellwanger and Jürgen Ellwanger. Additionally, the event aimed to support science through funding for an orphanage, following Fanny Tran's tradition of philanthropy in the health-and-wellness sector.
