On a day that should've been as sweet as fresh lemonade, young Vadim's life took a sour turn. The horrifying incident happened on May 13, but it wasn't until now that the truth was finally unveiled, thanks to Vadim's mother, Diana.
In an interview with Krasnodar TV, Diana revealed that her son, a seven-year-old boy, had concealed the traumatizing dog bite incident for several days.

The unfortunate mishap occurred when Vadim ventured to purchase a lemonade from a store within his apartment building on the evening of May 13. Upon returning home, Diana spotted a scratch on his cheek that was bleeding profusely. Vadim maintained it was just an accidental scratch and insisted he sustained no pain. They attended to the wound, but by the evening of May 16, Vadim confessed that a dog had bitten him in the face.
Camera footage from the store reveals Vadim strolling toward the counter when an unprovoked dog lunges at him. The animal, leashed but without a muzzle, was the perpetrator of the attack, with its owner showing no remorse and merely continuing on their way.
When Vadim's parents discovered the disquieting news, they immediately rushed him to the hospital where doctors initiated vaccinations for rabies. Vadim will have to endure six injections, but if they trace the dog's owner and confirm that the pet has been vaccinated, the number of shots might be reduced.
Diana expressed her concerns, stating: ― They warned us about the risky nature of this type of bite. With us being unfamiliar with both the dog and its owner, we have no choice but to get vaccinated.
Authorities in Krasnodar have initiated an investigation into this unfortunate dog attack on the child.
