Cincinnati Children's expands its healthcare services by opening a larger Urgent Care facility in NKY, specifically at the Crestview Hills location, growing its size by twofold.

Cincinnati Children's Crestview Hills is set to open a new Urgent Care on July 1, offering expert pediatric medical services for patients from infancy through age 21. The facility, located at 2765 Chapel Place in the Thomas More Office Park, will operate from 6-11 p.m. on weekdays and noon-7 p.m. on weekends.

The Urgent Care addresses a wide range of common pediatric issues including allergies, asthma attacks, minor cuts and burns, sore throats, colds, fevers (in children 2 months or older), flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, ear infections, headaches, insect bites, nausea/vomiting, rash, sprains, stitches, mild stomach pain, and urinary infections. It also provides timely lab services such as blood draws, urinalysis, stool samples, and swabs for strep, flu, and COVID-19 testing in collaboration with its on-site lab.

Beyond urgent care, families can access specialized pediatric medical clinics at this location, with the addition of Sports Medicine and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) care. This expansion reflects the facility's enhanced capacity to serve more patients and offer more frequent specialty clinics with rotating medical specialists.

The facility has undergone a significant renovation, doubling its size and staffing by 50%. The entire building was renovated by Cincinnati Children's at a cost of $17.7 million, with the lab and employee break room being expanded. A conference room was also added to accommodate the additional staff. As a result, approximately 30 new jobs were created.

For serious or life-threatening cases, Cincinnati Children’s directs families to their Emergency Departments in Avondale or Liberty Township. The Urgent Care focuses on non-emergent issues.

In summary, at Cincinnati Children’s Crestview Hills Urgent Care you can expect:

  • Walk-in pediatric urgent care for a broad spectrum of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Lab testing onsite for rapid diagnosis
  • Specialty services including Sports Medicine and ENT
  • Care for patients newborn to 21 years old
  • Extended evening and weekend hours for convenience

This makes Crestview Hills a comprehensive regional hub for both urgent and certain specialty pediatric care needs.
