Past 9:50 PM, a 69-year-old man rocked up at the ER on his own accord, undoubtedly bearing the brunt of a catastrophic incident.
As per police reports, the man's countenance displayed signs of grievous trauma to the face, with a brutal injury to the right eye area and a gash in the buttocks region, possibly inflicted by a knife.
Medical professionals managed to stabilize the man, but his deteriorating condition forced a transfer to another hospital for emergency surgery. Nevertheless, there is no longer an immediate threat to his life.
A Retiree's Nefarious Loss of SavingsBut the man's arrival had far-reaching consequences! Clothes contaminated with an unknown substance, presumably some volatile compound, resulted in nine medical staff members suffering respiratory distress and being treated on an outpatient basis.
Not only that, but between 9:40 PM and 11:40 PM, the ER was completely evacuated, ventilated, and underwent decontamination.

Investigations will now delve into the heart of the matter. According to the man's account, he was ambushed from behind by two unidentified teenagers and savagely attacked. He couldn't recollect any details about the crime scene.
