Join 'Healthy Foods, Healthy Minds' Spelling Bee to Support Renfrew County Poverty Action
The Food and Health Bureau is hosting the 'Healthy Foods, Healthy Minds' writing competition, with the 'Healthy Foods, Healthy Minds' Spelling Bee set to take place on Sunday, June 1 at 1 PM at Festival Hall à L'Équinoxe. The event, sponsored by local businesses and organizations, supports the Renfrew County Community Poverty Action Network (CPAN) and will be covered by YourTV Ottawa Valley.
All contestants for the Spelling Bee are registered, but gift cards for the winners can still be purchased at Steven and Julie's No Frills or donated to CPAN via the event website. The event is sponsored by myFM, Steven and Julie's No Frills, Algonquin College, and The Brick, showcasing local support for the cause. CPAN, the beneficiary of the event, aims to alleviate poverty in the Renfrew County community.
