The OMAD diet is an extreme form of intermittent fasting. It involves consuming all daily calories in one large, balanced meal within an hour. Karan Johar experienced initial side effects like fatigue, headaches, or mood swings. However, he persisted and saw positive results.

The OMAD diet works by keeping the body in a prolonged fasting state. This boosts metabolism and stimulates fat burning, leading to weight loss. It's high in protein, healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, and fiber, excluding processed foods. Yet, it's crucial to follow it properly. Improper use can cause long-term health issues such as nutrient deficiencies, muscle loss, and a slowed metabolism.
