In a significant stride towards a more inclusive and equitable workplace, the Plures Group has inked an agreement with the Tuscan confederations - CGIL, CISL, UIL, and regional secretariats, as well as FIadel. This agreement, signed at the Group's headquarters, marks a milestone in creating a more welcoming, fair, and respectful work environment.

The agreement emphasizes the recognition and respect for the rights and dignity of all individuals, promoting an inclusive work environment without discrimination. It commits to ensuring equal treatment for all employees, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or marital status, fostering fairness in all workplace interactions and policies.

One of the key aspects of the agreement is the recognition of civil unions. This means that employees in such unions will receive the same considerations and benefits as those in traditional marriages. Furthermore, the agreement includes provisions to support employees undergoing gender affirmation processes, ensuring their rights are respected and that they receive necessary accommodations within the workplace.

The agreement also establishes clear and accessible procedures for reporting incidents of discrimination, harassment, or violations related to gender identity or sexual orientation. This includes protection against retaliation and a commitment to investigate and address complaints promptly.

Plures' CEO, Alberto Irace, reaffirmed the Group's commitment to a work model that puts the person at the center. He believes investing in the quality of relationships, recognition of rights, and cohesion is crucial for the Group. Lorenzo Perra, Plures' President, shared this sentiment, stating that this investment is crucial for the Group.

The agreement strengthens the Group's commitment to real equality, going beyond restrictive interpretations still present in many contractual applications. It signifies a significant step forward in creating a more welcoming, fair, and respectful work environment.

To ensure the implementation of the agreement, joint monitoring with trade unions will be carried out. A dedicated listening point will be established within the Human Resources Department for all Group personnel. The parties will meet again in mid-September to continue the dialogue and further extend rights and protections for workers.

While the agreement does not mention any extension of rights to children in case of cohabitation or gender affirmation support, it is a promising step towards a more inclusive and equitable workplace. The Plures Group continues to demonstrate its vision as a public company focused on social innovation, responsibility, and the protection of people. Rights, inclusion, and dignity are concrete acts for the Plures Group, according to CEO Irace.

  1. The Plures Group's agreement with Tuscan confederations highlights a commitment to science, health-and-wellness, and workplace-wellness, as it aims to create a more welcoming, fair, and respectful work environment.
  2. The agreement emphasizes finance and policy-and-legislation, as it includes provisions to ensure equal treatment for all employees, regardless of identifiers like gender identity, sexual orientation, or marital status.
  3. In line with diversity-and-inclusion, the agreement recognizes civil unions and supports employees undergoing gender affirmation processes, fostering an inclusive work environment.
  4. The agreement signifies a step forward in politics and general-news, as it establishes clear procedures for reporting and addressing instances of discrimination, harshness, or violations related to gender identity or sexual orientation.
  5. The Plures Group's persistent focus on social innovation, responsibility, and people protection is evident from the agreement, with a clear emphasis on the rights, inclusion, and dignity of all individuals.
