During his visit, Chouhan assured farmers that they would be compensated for soybean crop losses due to heavy rainfall under the farmers insurance scheme. He also highlighted schemes like 'Ladli Behna Yojana' and 'Lakhpati Didi' Abhiyan aimed at improving rural livelihoods, particularly for women. Chouhan distributed benefits under various government schemes, inspected exhibitions, and visited a health camp.
In a separate development, the minister ordered an immediate probe into pomegranate crop damage in Rajasthan's Balotra region. A detailed survey will be conducted to assess the damage and ensure timely support to every affected farmer.
