On a side note, the Ministry of Health in Kazakhstan recently had to partially revise their death count statistics for COVID-19.

  • Starting August 1st, 2020, the Ministry of Health has been tracking cases of COVID-19 pneumonia separately, but they are not included in the main COVID-19 statistics.*
