Perpetrators of Child Pornography and Sexual Abuse: New Insights Provided by Recent Research
A new development in the case of the Magdeburg Christmas market attacker, Taleb A., has surfaced, following the discovery of possible child pornography in his apartment.
Investigative reporter Dirk Banse revealed in a recent interview that several women have come forward, alleging they were sexually abused by Taleb A. over a period of time.
The Saudi Arabian doctor, who was involved in refugee aid in Cologne, reportedly abused his position to coerce and threaten the victims, preventing them from reporting the abuse to the authorities.
One such report was made in 2016 to the Halle prosecution, according to Banse, involving Taleb A. touching and kissing a 20-year-old without her consent in an elevator.
Interestingly, Taleb A. booked a golf hotel in Brandenburg for himself and a child on the day of the attack. However, circumstances suggest that he does not have a child, leaving investigators to wonder about the intended recipient of the booking.
Taleb A. had expressed hatred for German authorities online and shared right-wing conspiracy theories. Despite his threats and incoherent online rants, there was no clear indication that something tragic was imminent.
It remains unclear why Taleb A. drove through the Christmas market, resulting in the tragedy that claimed six lives and injured hundreds.
