Planned Youth Aid Center Announcement in Reideburg by the City and Established Organization
In the heart of Halle (Saale), a new facility is set to open its doors to children and youth facing challenging living circumstances. The non-profit organization Bunte Feuer GmbH is launching a youth facility on Diemitzer Straße, with the city of Halle (Saale) providing the necessary funding.
The facility, which will be a small rehabilitative center, aims to provide targeted social and educational support to youths who are struggling in their personal, family, or social environments. Up to ten children and youth aged between seven and 21 can live in the facility.
The services offered by Bunte Feuer GmbH's facility include residential care, social and educational support, therapeutic services, recreational and social activities, and assistance with daily living and integration. This holistic approach is designed to empower children and youth to overcome adverse circumstances, build resilience, and achieve personal development and social inclusion.
The first three residents are expected to move in around mid-August. Bunte Feuer GmbH specializes in the care and promotion of children and youth with mental stress symptoms or illnesses. The organization has a long-standing intensive cooperation with the municipal youth welfare office.
The municipal building authority has granted permission for the change of use on the property for the youth facility, and renovation work in the annex is expected to be completed. No impact on neighboring property owners was found according to § 69 of the Building Code of the State of Saxony-Anhalt (BauO, LSA), and no public-law protected neighboring interests are affected.
