Pastor Fred Omvlee, an avid Elvis fan from the Netherlands, will share insights about Elvis's connection to gospel music during the event. On Sunday, August 17th, 2025, Pastor Omvlee will celebrate Elvis Presley's 90th birthday during an ecumenical service at the Luther church.
The event will also feature "Elvis-Pastor" Fred Omvlee and "Divine Concern" as part of the musical journey on Saturday, August 16th, 2025. A Vigil Mass at the city parish church is scheduled for 6 pm on the same day.
Elvis Presley, who famously declared, "There is only one King, and that is Jesus Christ," will undoubtedly be celebrated in style at this event, as attendees are encouraged to come in large numbers and with style.
