In a significant move to promote the health and well-being of children in the region, the authorities in Chegdomyn, Verkhnebuzinsky District have implemented a ban on selling energy drinks to minors. This new measure, announced by local resident Inna Lavruk, was reported by the "Khabarovsk Krai Today" news agency and marks the first time such measures have been taken in the region.

The ban applies to both synthetic and plant-based toning substances found in energy drinks. Retailers found selling these beverages to minors will face a substantial penalty, with fines of up to 500,000 rubles. This penalty was confirmed by Inna Lavruk, who also provided information about the new measures.

The ban on energy drinks for minors comes after a store clerk in Chegdomyn was issued a fine for selling an energy drink to a minor. The identity of the official who imposed the fine has not been publicly disclosed, making this the first known case of its kind in the region.

Interestingly, energy drinks that contain tea or coffee are not included in the ban. This exemption is likely to provide some relief for retailers, as many energy drinks on the market do contain these ingredients.

For more information about the new measures, residents can contact the relevant authorities in Chegdomyn, Verkhnebuzinsky District. Their phone number is 8 (4212) 32-86-37.

This new ban is part of a growing trend worldwide to protect children from the potential harmful effects of energy drinks. As more research emerges about the impact of these drinks on young people's health, it is expected that similar measures will be introduced in other regions.

In the meantime, parents and guardians are encouraged to educate themselves about the ingredients in energy drinks and to make informed decisions about what their children consume. By working together, we can ensure that our children grow up healthy and happy.
