Startupopportunities available at the European Health Congress; submissions accepted for potential collaborations
The organisers of the European Health Congress Munich 2025 have announced the selection of seven startups for the esteemed Startup Slam. These startups have been chosen based on the added value they promise for the healthcare industry.
The seven finalists will be granted free access to the European Health Congress, which takes place on October 21 and 22, 2025, in Munich. This event is expected to attract over 1,000 participants and more than 150 speakers from healthcare, politics, and science. The theme of this year's congress is 'Leap Innovations in Healthcare: From Backward to Future'.
Each of the selected startups will be given three minutes of stage time at the Startup Slam to present their innovative ideas. In addition, they will receive valuable feedback from experts and decision-makers in the healthcare industry, as well as the opportunity for individual mentoring by industry professionals. These mentors may provide valuable tips, answers, and contacts to help the startups thrive.
The selection committee for the Startup Slam is an internal committee of the organisers of the European Health Congress Munich 2025 and the IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria. The goal of the Startup Slam is to strengthen collaboration between university founding initiatives and private industry, promote the growth of scientific startups, and increase the visibility and sustainable support of the regional startup scene, particularly emphasising innovation in health-related fields.
The selected startups will also be offered on-site catering during the European Health Congress and a free exhibition space at the IHK Startup Expo. Moreover, they will have the opportunity to network with numerous professionals and potentially form valuable partnerships.
Applicants for the Startup Slam can send their applications to [email protected] by October 6. Additionally, they can submit a concise 1-minute video via a file-sharing platform to showcase their startup. An individual mentoring award will be presented by the jury to one of the seven selected startups at the closing event of the congress.

This event promises to be a hub for the latest advancements and innovations in the healthcare industry.
