In Lippe, Germany, on August 30, 2025, a pedestrian was involved in a car accident at the bus stop located at Hornsche Straße/Fabrikstraße.

At approximately 1:45 PM, a 75-year-old man from Detmold was struck by an unknown cyclist. The male cyclist, who was also involved in the accident, initially stopped but then fled along the shared pedestrian and cycle path of Hornsche Straße towards Detmold.

The victim sustained minor injuries and a witness assisted him at the scene. Unfortunately, the cyclist's identity and the type of bicycle he was riding remain unknown.
