Third Space Secures £75m Funding for London Expansion
Third Space, an exclusive fitness club, has secured £75m in funding. The gym, popular among celebrities like model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, aims to expand across London. It currently has 13 sites with monthly subscriptions around £250.
Founded by Joel Cadbury in 2001, Third Space was acquired by KSL Capital Partners in 2021. The new owner, whose identity remains unknown, has provided the substantial funding. Colin Waggett, the chief executive, revealed that this investment will fuel the company's growth.
Third Space plans to open new locations in trendy London areas. Queen's Park, Chelsea, and Oxford Street are among the targeted spots. This expansion will allow more Londoners to access the upmarket gym facilities.
With £75m in funding, Third Space is set to grow, bringing its luxury fitness experience to more Londoners. Despite the change in ownership in 2021, the gym's popularity, as seen with its celebrity members, remains undiminished.
