- Tweak a real pregnancy test. Carefully pry apart the plastic cover on a real pregnancy test to reveal the test strip inside. Using a fine-tipped marker, mark two straight lines on the test strip so you can see them through the indicator window. Then, reassemble the plastic cover. Keep the top of the test hidden until you're ready to reveal it to the camera.
