Underwent Surgery Leaves Lauren Goodger with Altered Appearance; She Opted Against Fat Injections to Rectify the Issue Instead
With her augmented assets and gravity-defying derriere, Lauren Goodger was merely one of many reality stars chasing the coveted Kardashian look in the late 2010s. As her fame rose, so did her boobs and bottom, making visits to the surgeon a regular affair. She soon became the queen of curves, flaunting her curves alongside her plump pout.
Fast forward a decade, and the TOWIE star expresses regret over her decisions, admitting, "I've ruined my looks with surgery - I hate my fake boobs and bum now." Like numerous others in her position, from Love Island's Faye Winter to Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry, the 38-year-old mum is eager to undo her surgeries, hoping to return to her original, pre- enhanced appearance.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, the reality star shared her reasons for undergoing a transformation: "I feel like my body looks abnormal - I don't need these massive boobs and massive bum. They make me look bigger than I am, and I wish I'd never had them done in the first place."
Lauren's surgery journey began in 2013 when she increased her bust from a 34D to a 34E. Although she was initially thrilled, she expresses dissatisfaction with the current state of her body. After two pregnancies and breastfeeding, her bodily proportions have altered significantly. "My boobs are absolutely massive now. They must be a size G or a H, and I can't wear a bra. I just wear sports bras," she laments.
The discomfort doesn't stop there. Lauren adds, "They are just so heavy and uncomfortable. I get backache, they're so heavy I even struggle breathing and getting dressed is really hard work. I can't wear anything nice because it doesn't fit my boobs."
Two years after getting her implants, Lauren decided to enhance her derriere with not one but TWO butt lifts. She reflects on the process: "I had my bum done in 2016, and I loved it at first, but then I decided it wasn't big enough, so I got it done again in 2017."
However, like her bosom, her bottom has grown disproportionately large after two pregnancies. Reversing the butt lift procedures is made more challenging due to the type of surgery she underwent. "With a BBL, you can either have an implant in, or fat transfer. I had the fat transfer – I basically had 360-degree lipo from my knees up, and they put it all into my bum. In hindsight, I wish that I had an implant, because then they could just take it out," she notes.
Determined to reverse the damage she has inflicted on herself, Lauren has mapped out a plan, starting with a breast explant surgery. She shares her excitement about the upcoming operation, which will cost around £12,000. "I've booked to have my boobs out at the end of the year before Christmas, and I'm really excited. For me, surgery is a much bigger deal now than when I was younger, as I'm a mum now and need to be around for my daughter, Larose."
When the boobs are removed, the majority of the skin will be cut away, allowing her to return to her original small and perky bust. She anticipates the transformation, sharing, "Everyone is going to be like, 'Bloody hell, Lauren, you look half the size.' I bumped into a friend recently, and it looked like she'd lost about two stone, but she'd just had her implants out. It will make a massive, massive difference."
Once her bust is restored, she plans to address her derriere, combining fat reduction surgery with exercising to achieve the desired size. She says, "I can't wait."
Being under the public eye has taken a toll on her, leading to body dysmorphia. She shares her experiences, "I've always been bullied for my appearance – even when I wore a size 6-8, I was made to feel big. Magazines always printed pictures of me with unflattering angles, or they'd be distorted and unrealistic. Nobody allowed me to be small."
Now, she swears off surgery for life, limiting herself to Botox, which she claims is the only procedure she doesn't regret. She also refuses to resort to fat jabs like Ozempic and Mounjaro, preferring natural methods for weight loss. She envisions a day when she is back to her old self, stating, "I've always known I'm a sexy girl, but I'll feel sexier than ever when all of this is done."
Regarding her relationship status, she insists her transformation is for herself, not to appease a potential partner. She clarifies, "People think I'm back with Charles [Drury, Larose and Lorena's dad] but I'm not. We're just co-parenting because we want to keep things as normal as we can for Larose." She remains single, content with focusing on healing herself.
In her journey towards self-acceptance, Lauren Goodger expresses her desire to ditch her enhancements in the realm of science and health-and-wellness, aiming to revert to her pre-surgery figure. She plans to undergo a breast explant surgery, followed by fitness-and-exercise and fat reduction procedures to address her derriere, with the ultimate goal of regaining her original shape and size.
