UniteLabs takes top honors in Munich's 2025 Startup of the Year competition, earning the prestigious title.
In a glittering ceremony at the Brand's Festival held at the Backstage, UniteLabs was named Munich's best startup of 2025. The Brand's Award, an annual competition that honours outstanding ideas and achievements, showcases the innovative power of Munich's thriving startup scene.
This year, the competition was particularly competitive, with five finalists vying for the title: Omegga, Peak Qantum, UniteLabs, Munnai, and Exomatter. UniteLabs' winning idea was an open platform for automating and digitalising lab processes in the biosciences.
Arno Eggers, the leader of the Brand, and Gabriele Riedl, Business Development Manager at Messe München, crowned the winning team. UniteLabs' victory was a testament to their innovative technology that enables devices and software from different manufacturers to be networked, creating a future-proof lab architecture that accelerates research and is flexibly adaptable.
