Workers' safeguards against ionizing radiation hazards remain unaddressed by the Commission, as no proposal for a directive on the subject has been ratified.
The South East Hesse Police Headquarters has announced that they will be conducting speed control points during the 4th calendar week of 2025. These measures are aimed at ensuring road safety and adherence to speed limits in various high-risk areas, noise-protection zones, and accident hotspots.
On 20th January, speed control points will be set up at the A66, Hanau towards Fulda, Bad Soden-Salmünster junction (noise protection) and A45, Hanau towards Aschaffenburg, Seligenstadt interchange (high-risk area).
The following day, on 21st January, speed control points will be at the same location on the A66, Hanau towards Fulda, Bad Soden-Salmünster junction (noise protection), as well as at K854, Langenselbold towards Erlensee, construction end (high-risk area).
On 22nd January, speed control points will again be at the A66, Hanau towards Fulda, Bad Soden-Salmünster junction (noise protection). In addition, points will be established at B43a, Hanau towards Dieburg, Hanau-Hafen junction (high-risk area).
The week of 23rd January will see speed control points at L3268, Hanau, Maintaler Straße, towards Dornigheim (high-risk area) and L3262, Zeppelinheim towards Buchschlag, between railway line and B44 junction (wildlife). The week will also include two consecutive days of control at B43a, Hanau towards Dieburg, Hanau-Hafen junction (high-risk area) on the 25th and 26th of January.
The traffic division officers will be monitoring speed limits at these locations to promote road safety and prevent accidents.
